Edd Aragon and Deng Coy Miel, both Filipino-born artists who now reside and work for different newspapers abroad, will have a two-man show of their editorial cartoons at the GSIS Museum in Pasay City from October 2- October 18.
Aragon works for the Sydney Morning Herald while Deng Miel works for the Singapore Straits Times. Each has garnered numerous journalistic arts awards in their adopted countries and from international award winning bodies.
Both artists were members of the Samahang Kartunista ng Pilipinas (SKP). They will give a talk on their individual experiences on how they got their jobs and succeeded in them, at the Powerbooks SM Megamall in October 15 at 1PM.
